Clarissa Dolphin (BA, MA, PAC) is a Shamanic Healer, certified Astrologer, Tarot diviner, Reiki Master, and writer based in Los Angeles. She was cited as an astrological expert in The New York Times in 2022. Clarissa’s work has been featured in The Career Astrologer, Dirty Laundry, White Hot, Broccoli City, Notion, award-winning Australian art publication FAINT and other publications. Clarissa writes horoscopes for The Mountain Astrologer and is a Mystic Medusa locum. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 with B.A.s in English Literature and English Writing and walked away with a Masters in Publishing from the University of the Arts London in 2008. Clarissa was elected to the Board of Directors for the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR) in February 2021 and she served as ISAR’s President until April 2024.
In addition to being an aesthetic dynamo rapt in the awesome goings-on of the international fashion, art and music scenes, she provides interdimensional readings and healings with an emphasis on leaving seekers present to their unique and profound souls. Clarissa has served hundreds of clients with Reiki, Shamanic Healing, and various forms of divination since her practice began in 2014.
Clarissa received her Professional Astrology Certificate (PAC) in January 2018 from the Avalon School of Astrology after a nearly three-year apprenticeship. Clarissa’s breakthrough astrological research projects include the discovery of the meaning and interpretive application of the Lunar Nodes, the Quincunx aspect, as well as the Parts of Fortunes and Spirit. She has presented her research discoveries as a lecturer in various venues, such as NORWAC and ISAR conferences. Clarissa teaches too, having lectured over 150 classes. A student of traditional astrology as well, she dedicates focused study to other astrological systems, and is certified in Horary from the School of Traditional Astrology.
